The fun never stops! Right after my 10 days in San Francisco, Shimmyfest West took place. It was a successful first year festival that my crew and I organized in our home town of Penticton, BC Aug. 12-14, 2005. Tobias Roberson came up for a visit, a little vacation and of course be our headline act and teach some lucky participants all about percussion and challenge their brains in the sweetest way possible. Three different workshops were held, as well as an ultra hot concert and bellydance cabaret at The Fibonacci Roastery & Café.
Thanks to all the participants, dancers and spectators, without whom it wouldn't have been possible. I’m working on something for this year!
